“The rebuild was a huge undertaking, but all the windows were made and installed within six weeks.”
Mrs Kathy Claxton
When Mr & Mrs Claxton bought their house, they didn’t simply move into it … they virtually knocked it down and re-built it. An impressive project that extended over ten months or more. Every window in the refurbished building needed to be replaced, and the main contractors instructed Droylsden Glass to undertake this element of the project. Black on white PVCu framed windows were specified for the front and side elevations, and in addition to installing the latest energy efficient frames and glazing units, Droylsden Glass also produced a number of bespoke decorative glass windows that were exclusively designed to incorporate a combination of beveled glass and lead features.
In addition to the whole-house refurbishment, a modern rear extension was constructed into which Droylsden Glass installed a number of aluminium windows together with two bi-folding doors. “Everything went so smoothly”, commented Mrs Claxton who was delighted with her new windows and doors, as well as with the service provided by Droylsden Glass.
