Rockley House was a dilapidated wreck before Armitage Construction was commissioned to restore it and contracted Droylsden Glass to install security-enhanced windows.
Armitage Construction of Bredbury was awarded the contract to convert the run-down Rockley House in Prestwich, Manchester into modern, safe and secure special needs’ accommodation.
Among the building’s new specifications were a number of replacement windows and so Armitage tasked Droylsden Glass to supply and install these specially manufactured units that incorporated special security frames, plus 10.8mm laminated glass glazing units.
In addition, Armitage also formed a new main entrance-way to the up-graded building and they instructed Droylsden Glass to install the stylish aluminium curtain walling that has now become a major feature of the impressive new entrance.
